Having access (or memory of it) to ‘grim shadow labor markets’ in RF predisposed some in the Georgian society to look favourably towards close ties to the RFederation. That’s how little a struggling population needs to not just discard all hopes for self-governance, but to be completely fine with its ‘choice’. How then, a Russian-made billionaire running Georgia is beyond any suspicion in regards to the influence (or even direct control) by the RFederation? If possible, please provide at least common sense arguments (if not evidence) supporting your claim that Mr. Ivanishvili is not at least a Russia-influenced ‘top dog’ in the land. The idea that his party is supportive of European and Transatlantic integration is quite ludicrous imo, because I think all sides are well aware that the integration is difficult, nay impossible until RF is in the way, and, frankly, those pretend games have run well into overtime and are not even entertaining at this point.
